画像生成AIの代表格の一つ、Stable Diffusionの開発者が作ったFLUX.2を年始にレビューした。久々起動したら動かなかったので何とか修理した話。

テキストを入力すると画像を生成するAIだ。
年始にレビューした環境を使っていたが、久々起動したら動かない。WEBのページは出るが画像生成をしてくれない。
コンソールにはこんなエラーが出ている。

はて？
AIに質問してみたら、ComfyUIのバージョンが古くて、FLUX.2の呼び出す機能がないらしい。更新していないのだけどな。
このComfyUIはポータブル版なので、更新には新しいものをダウンロードしてインストールしなおす方が早そうだ。新しいものはComfiUI_new2として展開した。
ダウンロードしたFLUX.2のファイルを新しいComfyUIのディレクトリに配置するも動かない。

さてどうしようか。
HuggingFaceを眺めて、新たなモデルはないかなって漠然と考えていたら、試してみたいモデルを見つけた。
Flux.2_Turbo_ComfyUIだ。

Black Forestのものではないが、有志が改良したものなのだろう。ダメで元々、試してみるか。
ここからダウンロードするファイルは３つ。

Workflow.jsonは\ComfyUI_new2 に置いた。
以前試したときのモデルのファイルはおいてあるので、もし動かなかったら前回のファイルもダウンロードして動かしてみよう。
使っているPCは2年前に作った自作PCのJisaku8で、以下の仕様だ。
これは年始と変わらない。
Comfy UIを起動する。\ComfyUI_new2にrun_nvidia_gpu.bat があるのでダブルクリックする。コマンドプロンプトのウインドウが開いてしばらくしたらWEBブラウザにComfy UIが表示される。
ワークフローとして配置したものを読ませる。
英語でプロンプトを入力する。プロンプトのウインドウはデフォルトでは真ん中あたりにあったが、好みで移動すればいい。
右上の「実行する」ボタンをクリックすると画像生成が始まる。自分の環境では1024×1024のサイズに対して、おおよそ2枚4分で生成された。前の倍速だ。モデルが「Turbo」だからかな、おそらく量子化などやったチューニング済みのものだからかな、
ちなみに、作成時間は半分に短くなっても消費するCPU、メモリ、GPUは変らない。いっぱいまで使われている。

試しに以下のものを作ってみた。

Turboにしたら一度に作ることができる画像が8枚まで増えた。前は5枚だったので、メモリの消費量が減ったのだろう。(1024×1024サイズの場合)FLUX.1では10枚作れたのでだいたい同じか。
Turboにしても、複数画像の作成では似たような画像になっている。前よりはちょっとバリエーションがあるかな。でもほぼ同じ画像だ。FLUX.1では同じプロンプトに対してかなり異なる画像を何枚も生成してくれたのだけどなぁ。
